Who are we?

NGO O.A.ZA. – Sustainable Alternative to Community was founded in January 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia. Discover our diverse activities for youth – workshops, lectures, conferences, volunteering, garden festivals etc.

What do we do?

We educate and inspire youngsters to develop a positive value system and competencies so they can become the change they want to see in the world.

why do we do it?

To help youngsters take the responsibility for the sustainable development of the society by facilitating activities that focus on personal development and environmental protection.

Bridge to Success

BECOME A SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR AND FIND YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS! Connect with yourself, become aware of your talents, passions and personality type, master basic entrepreneurial skills and try your hand at social entrepreneurship!

Oasis for Kids

We are currently preparing autumn workshops for children, drafting a manual for teaching staff on the establishment of school gardens, and researching the effects of the program on schools. We are also looking forward to the arrival of Green Fingers international volunteers! The activities are financed by the Swiss-Croatian Cooperation Program.

Joyful Kitchen

In the very center of Zagreb, Radićeva Street 9, we opened a vegan fast food OAZA Joyful Kitchen, where we happily cook healthy and delicious meals. Joyful Kitchen is a social enterprise – with our activities we want to contribute to the education of young people, environmental protection and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.

Joyful Leadership

We are constantly developing this training program for young leaders, starting new partnerships and improving our working methods. We are looking forward to new generations of participants of the training course who will come to Zagreb for a seven-day education. The third Joyful Leadership training will be held in September 2020 and is funded by Erasmus+.
